2010 – The 8th Annual Doo Dah Surf Day returns to Sunset Beach in Pacific Palisades, California. This unique surf event is a favorite among hundreds of West Coast surfers. Since 2003, participants have dressed up in costume every summer to share waves in the community atmosphere of family fun that is Doo Dah Surf.
Once again the proceeds raised will go to the West L.A./Malibu Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches. A portion of the of money raised will also benefit the ‘Gulf Oil Spill Fund’, a program of the Greater New Orleans Foundation.
